Job title: Stock packer
Location: From home
Terms: Contract for minimum of 12 weeks. Varied flexible hours available eg. Both full and part time available.
Rate: £11 per hour
Requirements: No pets. Smoke free household. Minimum of 15 hours per week. Able to lift 15kg boxes. Able to transport around 6 boxes at a time - a small car is sufficient
About us: We are a trans-owned family run business. We provide gender affirming products to the LGBT+ community.
About the role: We are looking for someone to quality check and package our incoming stock, primarily of chest binders. This will be done from home and on your own terms so long as the desired quantity is packaged by the agreed date.
Responsibilities:
Transporting stock between our office and your home.
Measuring the garments.
Checking the quality of the garments.
Folding and swing tagging garments.
Labelling packaging.
Logging any quality issues and reporting back to management.
Candidate requirements:
Full driving licence.
Able to lift 15kg boxes.
Able to transport around 6 boxes at a time - a small car is sufficient.
Have sufficient space to safely store these in your home - free from dust, damp, spillages etc. and be happy for us to check where the items will be stored in your home.
Good attention to detail.
Able to work quickly.
Comfortable doing repetitive tasks for long periods of time.
Able to manage your own time.
Able to use hand tools like a tagging gun.
Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Able to use the computer to update online records.
Able to report back to management.
Able to come into the office for 1 days training.
